Southend Estuary District Scouts

Information on the Scout Groups


The Scout Group is made up of a Beaver Scout Colony for members aged 6 to 8, a Cub Scout Pack for members aged 8 to 10, and a Scout Troop, for members aged 10 to 14.

At the age of 14, you can join your local Explorer Scout unit, up until the age of 18. After 18, the Scout Network section caters for members up to 25, and there are also two fellowship groups for those over 18, who want to remain involved in Scouting.
